Design Team Inspiration: Coffee Meet Up & Textured Layers

Hello Scrapbookers!!! Crafty Meggy here with another fun project to share with you.

Today’s inspiration is such a special layout, capturing a real-life coffee meet up between our design team member, Cassie, and shop owner, Hannah, —how fun is that?!

This colorful page is full of texture and dimension, created using inks and paste to build a rich, layered background. The combination adds so much depth and movement, making the whole layout feel vibrant and full of life.

She used spray ink to bring in bold, beautiful color, then added paste to create texture that really stands out and gives the page that extra something special.

To finish it off, she included a sequin mix from the shop along with other embellishments, adding pops of shine and detail that pull everything together. The sequins add just the right amount of sparkle while enhancing all that amazing texture.

✨ Why This Project Inspires

• Inks: Add bold color and movement
• Texture paste: Creates depth and dimension
• Sequin mix: Adds sparkle and playful detail
• Layered embellishments: Bring everything together beautifully

I love how this layout feels so joyful and full of personality. The combination of color, texture, and sparkle makes it such a standout project.

🎨 Try This Technique

If you want to recreate this look, start by adding inks to your background for a burst of color. Then layer in texture paste to create dimension and interest.

Once everything is dry, add sequins and embellishments to bring in detail and a little sparkle.

This is such a fun way to tell a story while creating a layout full of texture and life.
