Kristie said: “For this Project Life layout I was really inspired by the colors in the inspiration piece as well as the “good enough” card from Studio Calico. I took the colors from there along with the copper foil accent. I tied my layout together using ephemera from Maggie Holmes’ Shine collection, wood veneer from Gossamer Blue, Color Cast Designs and My Mind’s Eye as well as doilies and enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by!! This is Kristie’s first video as a Design Team member so make sure to watch her video and give her a bunch of thumbs up and love!

Mix It Up Monday: Alicia Jinhee

Hi Crafty friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I’m sharing a cute little project that Alicia made for us today. I am really in love with it! It is so cute! My favorite part is that she used non traditional colors for this time of year! Not that I don’t love the fall colors I’ve been seeing, it’s just refreshing.

You can find Alicia on her personal YouTube channel here and her process video on the Crafty Maven Getaway channel below:

Here are some photos of her project:

Jenn said, “I absolutely love this weeks inspiration. It is so pretty and girly. I decided to try my hand at a 4×4 album to document my journey of the Magic of Tidying Up – KonMari Method. Many of you may have read the book and are experiencing the magic as well. The KonMari Method is a way of discarding and organizing everything in your home. The idea is you only keep things that spark joy. My life has been transformed by this book and so because I am a memory keeper, of course, I wanted to document my journey. I was inspired by the colours in the mood board this week, so I pulled out all my pink, black and silver crafty goodies and away I went. I have never worked with this size of album before, but I loved it. I found it easy to journal and there was just enough space to add some embellishments. I love how many pictures you can get on the 4×4 pocket pages. I hope you will join me and watch the process of me documenting the first part of my journey. I still have a lot more tidying to do, but I am loving having this little album to look back on and remember my journey to being surrounded by joy!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great crafty week!!

Mix It Up Monday: DeAnna Scraps

Hello fellow crafty friends! Sorry this post is a bit late!! I had a sick little one at home today and that always seems to throw me for a loop!

I hope you are all enjoying the fall inspiration you are getting from the design team members. I am loving all the amazing layouts and projects and moodboards this month!! I can’t wait to see what you make with the Halloween inspiration board!! Here’s a peek at that, so you can start playing a little bit:

I LOVE halloween! It’s just so much fun!

Anyway, let’s move onto DeAnna’s CUTE project!! Today, she is sharing some cute little cards she made up.

Deanna

DeAnna said about her project, “I have been working on my card making lately and being a part of the Mix It Up Monday posting gave me the opportunity to play around! I chose to use the inspiration around me and went with an autumn color scheme and theme. Using the Lawn Fawn snow globe dies, I created thank you cards with leaves cut from my silhouette. This was really fun and I can’t wait to find more ways to use that die set!

You can find her video below and her personal YouTube channel here.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great scrappy week!

Mix it up Monday: Christy’s Beautiful Life

Hello, Crafty Mavens!! I hope you’re having a wonderful Monday, or Tuesday, depending on where you live in the world! I have a fun video to share with you today from Christy. She is sharing how to remake a little home decor cork board.

I really love the blue/turquoise color she painted over the green with!! I’m not much of a green person either and I love how bright the blue turned out to be! I think turquoise is a favorite color of mine right now. The embellishments she added to the cork piece are so cute! I love that little resin flower. It adds a lot of dimension and that bunny clip is so adorable!

You can watch her video below:

Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sorry this post and video are a bit late today. I kept putting off making my video all week and finally got it finished this morning. Yikes!

I am here to share a little mini album I made for my cousin for his Christmas present. I’m actually getting an early start on making presents this year, that’s amazing for me!!

I upgraded my laptop to windows 10 and have been having technical problems rendoring my video so I only have an album share for you instead of a process video. I apologize! You can watch the video below and you can find my personal YouTube channel here.

Here are some of the photos from the album. I hope you enjoyed watching my process! It was kind of crazy, but that’s just me!

Hello, crafters! I’m sorry this post is a few days late! Yikes, I’ve been really bad with keeping up on everything this week! I hope you’re all having a great week!

We had a little scramble on Monday because the designer that was scheduled to post couldn’t do it and so Tanya so kindly stepped in! She had a Project Life layout all ready scrapped so she was able to post it for us on a day where mixing it up is what it’s all about.

You can find her video here and her own personal YouTube channel here.
