Mix it up Monday: Scifi Scrapper

Hello fellow Crafty Mavens!! I hope you all are having a wonderful Monday (OR Tuesday, depending on where you live!) Today I have a layout that Emma made and it is so pretty!! I love glitter, but I have to be honest, I HATE using it!! I know, I’m weird! How can I call my self a crafter/scrapbooker when I don’t like using glitter. Haha, anyway, here is her gorgeous layout:

So simple and so beautiful!! I LOVE the white with the blues and silver!

I LOVE the idea of making a shaker layout. I’ve seen people do it with cards and I’ve made one myself, but I’ve never thought of doing the technique on a layout!! I totally want to try it now!!

I LOVE these cute 4×4 albums! The way she decorated this cover is so cute!! I love the colors!

I’m going to share just a few pages that I grabbed screenshots of. I really want to make a cute little album like this now!

Aloha Scrappers!! Happy Monday!! I hope your week is a nice one, whether you are on vacation, starting school this week or going along with the daily grind of life this week.

Today For Mix It Up Monday, Rachel Reynolds is showing us a card. This video is great whether you are an occasional carmaker, like me, I tend to forget to make them until I need one, Oops!! Even if you are an avid carmaker this video is good for you. We all love to have inspiration to make better cards or to just make a card!!

Hello, scrappy friends!! Are you ready for a fun new week and some great inspiration?! I hope so! I know I am! Today we have Hannah on the channel sharing a layout she made with a bigger photo. I’m excited to watch it because I have some 8×10 photos that I need to scrapbook too and I have no idea what to do with them on a layout!

Isn’t this such a great photo? I love these precious moments we capture between them!

These little vellum hearts and word stickers are so fun. They add a cute little touch to the layout.

I love this little cluster she has that hangs a little bit over the photo, but it doesn’t cover anything important.

The title she came up with was so awesome! I love creative titles, but I have a hard time coming up with them!

Hello, Scrappy friends!! Sorry this post is a little bit late today. I completely forgot it was Monday and therefore my turn to blog about the project we have up on the Crafty Maven Getaway YouTube channel today. Our designer today is Emma, from Sci-Fi Scrapper on YouTube. Here’s a look at her project. She made a gorgeous little mini book based off of this weeks inspiration piece:

Aren’t the colors in this photo so much FUN??!! I absolutely LOVE it!!

Isn’t the cover of her album just so pretty?!! I LOVE the celebrate gold chipboard sticker! And those little rosette are so fun.

This is a view of the inside. I really just love this little mini album!! It makes me really want to do more than just every day 12×12 scrapbook layouts!

Hello, scrappy friends!! This is Megan and I will be sharing a 6×12 layout that Lisa, maggiemylow, made for the channel today.

I just love this new trend of making 6×12 layouts for your albums. I’ve even seen some 6×12 albums. That is such a fun and different way to scrapbook and I totally want to try it out! You can watch Lisa’s process video on how she made this page here.

Here are some layouts from her, aren’t they just so much fun?!! I love the ‘iPhone hijack’ one!!

The colors are just so fun on this layout!

I love the floral paper and the months. That is such a great idea for a school layout!
