Mix It Up Monday: Crafty Meggy

Hello and happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I was able to get a lot of scrapbooking done. It was nice!

Today I am sharing 4 cards that I made this weekend for Valentine’s Day. We don’t really celebrate Vday to the extreme that some people do, but it is fun to make cards and send my kids to school with Valentine’s.

In this process video I am making 4 cute and simple cards inspired by ones I found on pinterest. You can find each of the cards here, here and here. You can find my personal YouTube channel here and my process video on the Crafty Maven Getaway channel is below:

Here are some close up photos of the cards:

The one on the bottom left is my favorite I think. They were all really fun to make and like I said earlier, really simple. I love the added touch of paint and modeling paste to the two cards on the bottom. The top two are a good way to use up all of those rolls of washi tape I know you have!

For this card I used a pencil eraser dipped in paint and dabbed it on the base of the card. It was a fun technique and I will definitely being doing it again!

CMvdaycards7

For this card I popped it up on some 3D tape to give it a little bit more dimension and I just love using 3D tape! 🙂

Mix It Up Monday: Scrapbena Creations

Hello and happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I am excited to share this adorable card that Jenn made. It’s so stink’ cute!!

You can find her process video below and her personal YouTube channel here.

Jenn said about her layout, “This week’s inspiration led me to create a fun and colourful baby card for a friend of mine. I used spectrum noir markers to colour up the adorable bun in the oven image from Lawn Fawn. I made a shaker circle and added ribbon with the sentiment tag to create an adorable card. The best part was that I got to use up a DCWV blank card that I have had in my stash forever – it went perfectly with this week’s inspirational piece.”

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you have a great week!

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It always goes by so fast, unfortunately.

Today I am sharing an awesome project that Hannah made. You can find her personal channel here and her process video below:

Here are some photos of the cute chore charts she made:

Hannah said about her chore charts, “This week on Mix It Up Monday I made these cute Clipboards with tags we could add on or in a pocket. The tags have the chores my kids need to do. This year we are focusing on getting them to help out around the house. These clipboards were so fun to make and the kids love them. Hopefully it will help them actually be excited and do their chores.”

” This year I decided that I wanted to use a smaller personal planner for on the go in addition to my bigger A5 planner that stays at home. I fell in love with the white planner from Websters Pages, but it came without it’s “guts”. I loved all the blues and oranges in the inspiration piece, so I used that color scheme to make my dividers. I used my silhouette to cut them out so this project was super easy. You can check out my process video to see what other inserts I am going to be using this year.”  Banning Lane

I hope you were inspired today!! I love these dividers and think I am going to try these out in a Midori sized planner I am working on for on the go. I hate lugging around my bigger planner out to appts but I sometimes need it. Come back tomorrow and join us for In Your Pocket Tuesday!!

Aloha, Hannah

Mix It Up Monday: Hannah Lemiuex

Hello Crafty Maven’s!! I hope you’re all having a wonderful new year so far!

Im sharing a gorgeous planner spread that Hannah made for us! I love how she uses so much mixed media in her planner decorating! I never even thought of doing that!

You can find her video below and her personal YouTube channel here.

Here are some photos of her layout as well:

Hannah said, “This week I was really inspired by the frosted window with the sun shining through. I love the blue/aqua color with the orange with it. I used Gelatos with a stencil to get a multi colored feather. I also used stamps this week, and stuck with foilage stamps to help match the nature feel of the inspiration piece. This week I added lot of journaling in my planner so I can go back and use for my Project Life spread later in the month. I really like how each week my planner can work to plan but also journal things we did throughout that week.”

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

My goal is to spend less then an hour a week organizing my planner and time ahead!! I am excited sharing my planner this week. Mix It Up Monday: Crafty Meggy

Hello Craft friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Mine was eventful with a lot of sickness and not a whole lot of crafty time. Very sad! But we’re on the up and up so hopefully we’ll be all healthy in a few days.

Today I am sharing a little mini album I made for my cousin as her Christmas present. I kept it very simple and clean. The process took me about an hour and a half so the video is quite a bit longer than normal and might be a little choppy. I tried cutting out as much as I could so you wouldn’t have to watch an hour long video!

Here are some photos of the finished album:

Aloha Crafters!! It’s Mix It Up Monday today!! The The Crafty Maven is off to a fun start using the new inspiration piece this week. Which is hugely inspired by winter and christmas time.

Here is a quick reminder of what the inspiration looks like.

December 4

I love what our Design Team Member Nicole made for us with this inspiration piece. She made for the channel these cute little embellishments.

Here is what Nicole said about her post today, ” I did something a tad different for Mix it up Monday! I made these cute magnets using a My Minds Eye 6×6 paper pad, Glossy Accents and magnets. You could also leave off the magnets and they would make for cute page embellishments too.”

Here is a look at them. They are literally as cute as a button!
