Hello Crafty Mavens! Today we have Katty with art party Friday!

I was really inspired by the purple florals in this weeks mood board. I pulled out my Daler Rowney Mixed Media Travel Book and used my favorite Shimmerz Paints to create this fun whimsical page. I used some of the fun Shimmerz Texture Pastes to create some texture on the flowers and the watercolor jars to create the stems and the sky background. It is a really simple design but I love how it tuned out.-Katty-

Happy Friday Crafty Mavens! Today we have Katty Miranda with Art Party Friday!

I love this weeks mood board. Blue is my favorite color. I used a beautiful cut file by Bea Valint. I decided to make blue roses. I had fun combining different blue and green mists. The colors blended together really nicely. I kept the embellishing simple since my cut file was very large. I’m the end I love how it turned out.-Katty-

Happy Friday Crafty mavens! Today we have Katty Miranda with Art Party Friday!

I love the bold colors in this weeks mood board. I knew I wanted to create a fun background. I used my Shimmerz Paints Mists and a small stencil to create a simple fun background. I mainly used a sheet of patterned paper from the Studio Calico Lemon Lush Collection which had florals on it and I fussy cut those florals. I love the pops of boldness that the black tittle and black elements added to this layout. It turned out fun and whimsical which is what I was going for.-Katty-

Happy Monday Crafty Mavens! Today we have Katty Miranda with Stash it Monday!

For this layout I decided to pull out a lot of different things from my stash. Including a fun stencil which I missed with a few colors from my Shimmerz stash. I used products from the Simple stories A Charmed Life collection as well as the Pinkfresh studio Felicity collection. This layout came together very quickly. I love how it turned out.-Katty-

Hello Crafty mavens! Today we have Katty Miranda with Sketch it out Thursday.

I found this fun sketch from lafabrikascrap-leblog.fr. I tried to follow it pretty closely. I made a few small changes like the placement of my tittle but stayed pretty true to the sketch. I love that it calls for a lot of white or open space. It’s something I often struggle with. The Paige Evans Fancy Free collection worked really well with this weeks mood board. I love how it turned out.-Katty-

Plan It Sunday (July 31): Katty Miranda

Hello crafty mavens! This is Katty and I’m here with a planner video. It’s been a while since i decorated my planner. I forgot how fun it is and how nice it is to have a decorated spread to fill in for my month or week. I went with all of the colors in this weeks beautiful mood board. I used some washi and a few items from my stash to create this spread. It was definitely fun to create and I look forward to planning out the month of August.

Art Party Friday: (July 22) Katty Miranda

Hello crafty Maven’s!! This is Katty and I’m here to share my artsy layout I made today.

I love the mood board this week and I tried to use as many colors as I could from it. I am scrapping a photo of my two boys on our recent vacation to Hawaii! I focused on one color to create my background and then added the other colors in with paper layers and embellishments. This layout was a lot of fun to create.
