Hello Crafty Mavens! I hope everyone’s week started out good. Today we have Deanna with Stash it Monday.
This was a really fun layout to make. As I was digging through my stash, I came across the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper with all of the letters and knew right then that I wanted to use it. I based the rest of my color scheme off of the letters that I planned to use. I dug deep into my stash to find some of the cork pieces, the vellum stickers and the camera. I really loved the way this layout turned out!-Deanna-

This layout is a scraplift of a layout by Ashley Hortonhttps://www.pinterest.com/pin/85498092905305399/. I loved the design so much that I followed it almost completely! I changed up the colors and did mostly blues and greens, where Ashley’s layout was a rainbow of colors. One of my favorite parts of making this layout was all of the stitching. I enjoy the detail and texture that stitching gives to a layout and thought all of that stitching looked awesome on this layout! -Deanna-

DeAnna said about her layout: “I was really inspired by the colors of the inspiration piece and also the little bird with the mosaic design. From there I decided to try a layout with triangles. I found a sketch by Creative Scrappers #260 that worked perfect for the design. I really enjoyed creating this layout and was really happy to get some stamping done on the page. I also find that using a sketch helps get me out of a scrappy slump. This sketch was perfect for that! Thanks everyone and Happy Thursday!”

Aloha Crafty Mavens!! I hope everyone week is going well. Here at my home we are getting prepared for Thanksgiving. I am in charge of making the desserts!! Yumm!! I hope that whether you are in the US or anywhere throughout this amazing world, you take the time to reflect on things you are thankful for in the coming holiday season. It really is part of this story we are creating with the paper crafting we do!!
Today is Free Flow Wednesday. I really love seeing all the different styles on the Crafty Maven. We all have something that makes us unique and I think it is so important to embrace this when we do our own work. What works for me isn’t what works for you and that really inspires me, knowing that other scrappers and paper crafters can find a way to connect to their products and stories in a didn’t way then me.
On the channel is Abcdeli, which has such a clean and classic style. It is so inspiring. Here is what she said about making her layout this week.
“I love this week’s inspiration piece, especially the fall colors and the leaves. the Clique Kits November kit had the perfect papers to match them! I had so much fun creating this layout and I also got the chance to use my new Tim Holtz die!”

I used the colors and the image that says “Give Thanks” as my basis for the layout. I used my stash for this layout, even some items that have been in my stash for many years. I loved the way it turned out and had fun creating the page!”

Our spotlight is on Deanna (DeAnna Scraps) for today’s Sunday Spotlight! Deanna has a love for all things crafty, as she explains in her video. She was introduced to crocheting at the age of 9 and she has been doing various crafty things since. She started making cards when she was introduced to Stampin’ Up! a number of years ago, and this is one craft that Deanna has shared with us on the Crafty Maven Getaway. Deanna will also show up examples of her many beautiful layouts, including how journaling is a big part of her memory keeping. Deanna loves to create “Journal Your Christmas,” which is a project she will soon be starting in her crafty space. Thanks so much Deanna for sharing your crafty world with us today. Anyway, let’s move onto DeAnna’s CUTE project!! Today, she is sharing some cute little cards she made up.
DeAnna said about her project, “I have been working on my card making lately and being a part of the Mix It Up Monday posting gave me the opportunity to play around! I chose to use the inspiration around me and went with an autumn color scheme and theme. Using the Lawn Fawn snow globe dies, I created thank you cards with leaves cut from my silhouette. This was really fun and I can’t wait to find more ways to use that die set!”

Aloha Crafty Mavens!! It is a nice sunny Hawaiian day today!! A nice breeze blowing makes the still hot and humid temps not feel so bad. As much of the country and world starts to think about fall and cooler weather, I look forward to seeing all those things in everyone’s photos!! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year!! One thing I love about the inspiration piece this week is how it has elements of the Autumn but with bright colors, like it’s summer still trying to hold on. Kind of how Autumn feels here in Hawaii!

This sketch is really fun with lots of room to make it your own but enough direction to leave it be as well!! I love when sketches have both these aspects!!

I love all the color and fun elements she added on her page!! I love how she changed up the sketch a little with the circle being smaller!! This layout really reflects the tone of her picture too.
