Hello Crafty Mavens! Today we have Hannah with Scraplift Saturday!

I really love the black and white theme, I choose a darker photo with a little bit of color in it. I picked up on the orange-coral color and choose embellishments with those colors. For the mixed media I kept it simple and splattered different shades of black and grey.-Hannah

Scraplift Saturday:(Jan 7)SciFi Scrapper

Hello Crafty Mavens! I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! Today we have SciFi Scrapper with Scraplift Saturday!

Today I’m creating a cover page for my project life, to get my 2017 album started and hopefully keep me motivated to not fall too far behind this year!

I love Paige Evans layouts, so it was easy choice for me to pick one of her layouts to scraplift. I decided on her ‘Love This’ layout. I loved the big cut out title and thought it’d work well for an title page.

I changed things around a little, as I always tend to – putting my own style in to the layout. I used the packaging technique with several colours of mists on the background (the spray paint in the moodboard inspired me to do this), as well as some modelling paste for extra depth and texture.

I kept the layout fairly simple and light, even with those citrus colours so it’d go with the rest of my album (I tend to use pastels colours in my scrapping) and love how it’s turned out!-Emma-

Layout was scrap lifted from Missy Whidden and I used paper that has been in my stash from various companies. All the hearts were cut with my Cricut along with the title which is from the new Heidi Swapp cartridge.-Beth-

Scraplift Saturday:(Oct 29) SciFi Scrapper

Happy Saturday Crafty Mavens! I hope you all had a wonderful Saturday. Here it was a beautiful day out. Today we have SciFi Scrapper with Scraplift Saturday!

I rarely get the oppertunity to scrap Halloween photos, as though it’s growing, it’s still not a huge holiday in the UK. Needless to say that when my brother told me he was dressing up to go to a costume party I made sure to pop round and take some photos!

I used the Halloween mood board for my layout, taking the colours, but also the potion bottles as part of my inspiration. I picked a layout by ScrapsbyJen to scraplift, as I loved her layout, and the ‘half and half’ look the layout had with each side using a different patterned paper.

I had very limited (non-orange) Halloween supplies, so I made do with what I had. My favourite embellishment has to be the ‘bootiful’ frame though. “Bootiful” (or “Boots”) was the nickname we called my brother when he was a little! -SciFi Scrappe-
