Hi all! I am happy to share with you a layout that I scraplifted from Natasha Valkevskaya from the Hip Kit Club. My layout turned out completely different so even though there is inspiration everywhere you can always make the layout in your style. What I liked about Natasha’s layout was the vertical embellishment going down the center of the page and I do replicate that, to a degree.
I started with a background paper from the Whimsical collection from Paige Evans in a lovely yellow ombre. I also grabbed a vellum sheet from Websters Pages Happy Camper line and a couple of 6×6 blue papers from my stash and started a foundation for my layout. I did not layer my photo as I normally do, instead, I place the photo right on top of the foundation that I created as you can see below.
I did manage to use half of an entire package of ephemera from the Hello Sunshine line from Fancy Pants on this page. I love to embellish and ephemera is my favorite of all scrapbook supplies. What I didn’t use from the ephemera pack, I fussy cut out from the Crate Paper Good Vibes paper to build the cluster of houses in the bottom right. Sorry the picture is upside down, but, then again, you are dealing with me….lol! Sometimes my life is just a little off center. I will have to say, I am never bored.

As you can see in these pictures I did heavily embellish the page, but I think it turned out just fun and colorful and that was the “feel” I was going for. Honestly, who doesn’t love embellishing? You can see that I made multiple clusters with a little bit of messy thread and some sequins to add a touch of sparkle.
I finished with some small flicks of white acrylic paint around the clusters and love the final result. I hope you can find some inpiration from my layout like I did with Natasha’s. You can find the process video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/SEYtxlVxBK0
