Hello Crafty Maven! I hope everyone is having a great week and you are looking forward to the weekend. Today we have Sketch it out Thursday with TinaGale.
“3/31 Sketch from PageMaps for my Sketch it Out Saturday post. I used the new Maggie Holmes Bloom collection to document this old polaroid of my daughter. The little bunny chipboard was just screaming to scrap this photo.”-Tina

Aloha!! I really have been enjoying Throwback to Two Peas week!! The Design Team has done a fabulous job!! The layouts are so inspiring!
Today on Scraplift Saturday we have two amazing videos!!
TinaGale has been inspired by Paige Evans. This layout is made by Paige Evans and inspired TinaGale.
“I decided to lift a fabulous layout by Paige Evans for the Scrap Your Stash series at 2Peas. Instead of paper backing she used ribbon. I definitely have plenty of ribbon in my stash that needed to be used up. The long bold title was perfect for this one simple photo of my son taking a rare nap after wearing himself out playing. Notice the bowl on his head? LOL” -TinaGale
Here is TinaGale’s layout. I love all the details she added and layered to the sides of her photos. This layout is just really fun!!
You can watch her process video right here below.
You can also see more videos on her personal Youtube Channel or check out here blog where she is sharing the things she is working on !!
Also on The Crafty Maven Getaway is one of our new Design Team Members ColieBing. I love Nicole’s style, she often has multiple photos on her layouts too.
I have been using her Month in Review videos to get inspiration to do my own MIR layouts for 2014. I am using My Mind’s Eye papers for all of my 2014 MIR layouts and trying to make a little dent in those papers I have been hoarding!” -Nicole (ColieBing)
Here is Nicole’s layout.
I love the buttons on this layout. And that tile is so cool!!
Hey crafters! I have a wonderful sketch and layout to share with you today! TinaGale decided to use this sketch:

I really love this sketch and the layout Tina made using it! I hope I get a chance to use it!
Thanks for stopping by today!! Hope you have a great weekend!!

I really love the collection she used! It’s so pretty and fun!

We have two lovely ladies up today for Scraplift Saturday both of whom are lifting the extremely talented Nancy Damiano; first up is Tina lifting this beautiful layout:
“I couldn’t wait to use this paper from the Jen Hadfield Homemade collection with a picture of my daughter starting her WDW internship. The PL cards were a perfect addition to the story I wanted to tell.”
You can see more of Tina on her personal YouTube channel and here is her process:
But wait, there’s more 🙂 Here is Sarah’s take on another of Nancy’s layouts:

Today our two contributors decided to scraplift each other and both ended up with beautiful results – TinaGale is up first not scraplifting a layout of Katty’s but rather going with specific products and a series Katty has; really cool idea.
“I was inspired by co-contriibutor Katty Miranda. Looking through her layouts she obviously loves flowers and doilies so those were a must. I love to use up my stash and she has a great series Work it Wednesay where she creates a kit from her stash. I grabbed several products from my stash and created this layout of my daughter having fun creating snowflakes from some embossed die cuts I had made. I was teasing her because she wouldn’t glue them together so she was trying to hide under the table. LOL”
You can watch her process here and see more of her on her own channel:
Katty Miranda went with the more traditional approach and lifted a beautiful layout of TinaGale’s:
“This week TinaGale Husong and I decided to Scraplift each other. I knew immediately which layout of hers I wanted to lift. I absolutely love Tina’s layout. Everything about it, the design, the colors, overall it is just fabulous. I also really loved this weeks inspiration board. I love the combination of the pinks and silvers. I think the color scheme went very well with this photo I had printed in black & white of my adorable niece.:) ”
This is the stunning result:

Aloha Scrappers!! I hope you all have been having a great week!! I can’t believe it’s Thursday already. I feel like I have barely gotten anything done this week. Though I imagine if I added all the little things up they would be a lot of things!!
Today on The Crafty Maven Getaway TinaGale and Kelly Barron are sharing their take a a sketch.
This is what TinaGale said about this layout, “I loved the inspiration piece for this week and the sketch but I struggled from the get go. I redid it 3 times until I was happy. I love this photo of my son with his black eye so I wanted to love the layout. He’s always gone 100 mph and at a year and half he suffered a black eye or two because of it. He’s definitely my cheeky little monkey. I used the Cocoa Vanilla Made of Awesome line. Hopefully through my struggled I can show it’s ok to sometimes start over.”
Kelly Barron also made a wonderful Layout today on the channel. Kelly choose to use a sketch from Citrus Twist from August 30th. (Below is a photo of the sketch and if you press if it will link you to where to find it!) I love how the new Amy Tangerine’s Finders Keepers Line matches really nicely with the mood board. I also appreciate who real Kelly is for making a layout about a broken phone, or just plain crappy life. Life isn’t always perfect and sometimes that shows in our albums. I love how Kelly showed us a fun way to add these crappy moments in our albums. BY being sarcastic Kelly could down play the crappy moment but also remember it.
Thank you for joining us on The Crafty maven Getaway today!! I hope you were inspired!! I hope to see you again tomorrow for Art Party Friday!! Nurse Lisa has another amazing art journal page to share.
Also be on the look out for some small new changes to the Channel. We are working hard on a few new things to help make the channel, including cleaning up the intro image when you are starting a video!! I am getting excited to share everything we are doing but not all is ready yet. But keep on the look out!!
