HAPPY HALLOWEEN *mwhahahahhaa* <— that’s my attempt at a scary laugh

We have two stunning Halloween themed scraplift projects for you today first up is Banning Lane:

“I decided to scrap lift a layout by Suse Fish from Faith Hope & Washi. She is amazing and I always love her style so that choice was a no brainer. Since it is Halloween I decided to use Halloween colors instead of the bright and cheery colors that Suse used. I’ll admit that my hand stitched title took much longer than I wanted, and at one point I thought about giving up. I am glad that I didn’t!”

I’m glad she didn’t too, otherwise we wouldn’t have been given the opportunity to not only enjoy the layout but get to see her process too. Thanks Banning 🙂

Good morning, Mavens!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! My husbands birthday was yesterday and it was so nice to have a day to celebrate this wonderful man and all he does for our family. Plus, eating cake! Hehe

I really love how simple her spread is! I think it’s great how much journaling she did! She will love having these memories when her daughter is older!

In Your Pocket Tuesday: Banning Lane

Aloha My Scrappy Friends!! It’s a gloomy day today on my part of the island! With school in full swing, it helps us not miss being outside so much though. School work has certainly been keeping us busy and fitting in crafty time has been challenging, but I have found crafting in blocks or chunks of time has been helpful. I go to my desk with a goal and a time frame and get right to work!! I hope you have been able to get some crafty time this week, or at least enjoying being inspired by others today!!

I Also want to take a moment to congratulate Dannielle for making it on the Felicity Jane Kit Club Design Team recently. This is an amazing opportunity and I am super excited for her!!

Today on The Crafty Maven Getaway Banning Lane, is up and checking up on her pocket page spread!! Her clean and pretty look is reflected in her pockets beautifully! Dannielle has also added a 12×12 photo along with her spread to help tell what they did during week. If you haven’t watched her video, here is the link. I love the concept of switching up our pocket pages to fit our needs. I think it will make for a nicer album when it is finished!

Scraplift Saturday: Banning Lane and Crafty Meggy

Hey Scrappers!! It’s Saturday and Banning Lane and Crafty Meggy are scrap lifting today!!

This is the lovely layout they were scrap lifting from Shawn Stiles Lars from the Scrapaholics Anonymous Facebook group started by Inkie Quill. Gorgeous Layout. The ladies did an amazing job adding their own twist and personal style into their layouts too!!

Here is Crafty Meggy’s layout, I love the scrabble tile letters for the title!! It is such a fun twist and add such a cool texture and dimension to the layout!!

Banning Lane, tackled the same original layout also. I love the small touches Dannielle added to her layout. Like the tiny staples on the ripped pieces of cardstock. I love how her clean style shines even with her using distressed elements!!

Aloha Crafty Mavens!! I hope you are enjoying your week, getting things accomplished, and hopefully have had a few minutes to sit down and play with your crafty stuff!!
