I can’t believe it’s Sunday already. A new week is about to begin. This past week has went way too fast. Even though time goes so fast I am always glad to have my camera handy to capture the little moments I want to remember.
Today on The Crafty Maven Getaway it’s Spotlight Sunday. We are getting a closer look at the lovely and talented Sarah Swann. I love Sarah’s face to face videos!! She is always so fun and down to earth! I know you scrappers will love Sarah’s Spotlight video.

I am sorry this Spotlight post is a little late. We celebrated my kids birthday this weekend, We have two birthdays in a week. That means crazy fun!!

For Spotlight Sunday Tanya Hubbard was up, and sharing with us her life! She shares her room, she talks about her evolving style, and even her cats!!
I love how Spotlight Sunday really showcases each Crafty Maven who posts, and Tanya’s Spotlight is no different. She has a wonderful sense of humor, that just has one laughing along with her. I always feel happier after watching one of her videos, her love and humor for life really shines through her videos and layouts.
She, like all the Crafty Mavens, is so talented. Her are a few looks at some layouts that Tanya has done.

Another fun thing about Sunday is that I share with you the inspiration piece we will be using throughout the week!! I love this part of the week, I really have so much fun taking ideas from the “Cravens” and searching around Pinterest for ideas that I think will inspire everyone, and not just the ladies posting to the Youtube but all you viewers and crafters. I want you to be inspired to create and document your memories!!

Another fun element that we will be starting soon is sharing tools or techniques on Sundays. We have almost finished Spotlighting all the wonderful ladies who post on The Crafty Maven Getaway. Though we still want to share and inspire you everyday, so we will be highlighting tools or techniques on Sundays!! We may not have tools or techniques every Sunday since we are still Spotlighting the Posters but for fun I thought I would give you a peek of my process video setup for our first tool Spotlight. I know many Scrapbookers who are curious about filming videos always have questions about set up. This is an excellent place to Spotlight that. I know this video isn’t for everyone, but that is the great thing about this channel, that there is a little something for everyone.

Aloha Scrapers!! I am so sorry this is up so late!! This weekend has been fun and crazy!! I think I may need two of me!! As many of you know we hosted an online crop this Saturday at The Crafty Maven Getaway Destination FB Group, it was Epic!! It has kept me really busy but the good busy!! There has been so much inspiration flowing from all the members!!
Today I want to share with you our Spotlight Sunday video!! CraftinmommaML, is sharing herself with us!! She is so talented and down to earth!! I just love her. I love her video, where she chats with us and then shares the cutest collage/slideshow of photos of her life and layouts!!
One last thing I want to share with you today before I go, is the Inspiration pieces for this week! I think you are going to like the fun colors and designs of the pieces this week.

And her craft room!! Omg!! It’s so peaceful and organized! I would love a room like that, but even if I did have one I would probably still manage to clutter it up. Lol That’s one of my many talents. Hehe

Aloha Crafty Mavens!! It’s already Sunday, where did the weekend go?! I am glad we have an extra day off this weekend because I definitely haven’t gotten enough scrapping in as I would have like too. Today we are planning on going out as a family! I hope you are enjoying time with your friends and family this weekend too!!
It is Spotlight time on The Crafty Maven Getaway!! As we go along, this really is becoming my favorite day! Today we are getting to know Maggie Mylow, or Lisa. Lisa shows us where she lives, and talks about how much she loves it there. She also shares with us her family!
She shows us here craft room and shares lots of things she has created. I loved looking at all Lisa’s layouts and art journal pages. She is so talented!! And I love how she has embraced the things so loves and making that her style!

These layouts are simple, but include so much!! I love that she uses more than one photo on her layouts. Not in all her layouts, but a lot of them do. I’m a multi photo scrapper myself so when I see other people do it too it makes me not feel so alone. lol

Aloha Scrappers!!! It’s Sunday here on the island, and it is the perfect day to relax watch Youtube videos and scrap. The sun is hidden under lingering clouds from a storm system moving away from the island.
It being Sunday, we get to see another Youtube Spotlighted. This day is one of my favorites on The Crafty Maven Getaway!! I love getting to know the Youtubers I love to watch on regular basis. Today is no different. Today we get a look at Froggie 251, or Kelly.
Kelly shared with us her scrap space and some old scrapbooks she has worked on in the past. I love seeing old scrapbooks and where we came from!! I loved getting to know Kelly so much more, even watching her daughter photo bomb her at the end!! What a cutie!! Kelly also shared some of the layouts she has done recently.
I look forward to seeing more scrapbooking from Kelly in the forward!! She is so talented, I love how she has a simple style but isn’t afraid to try new techniques.
