Hello Crafty friends! This is Julia and for today’s In Your Pocket Tuesday i have created a project life page using 6×6 paper pads and some really old chipboard embellishments. I have mainly been inspired by the colour pallette for this week and tried to stick to those colours on my page.

This layout is scraplifter from Missy Whidden’s layout. i have used Shine and Bloom collections as well as some Shimmerz sprays to create elements and background for this page based on the inspiration piece. I have created own cloud embellishments using stencils and texture paste then letting it dry overnight and peeling off from non stick surface. -Julia-

I decided to use some thread in the colours from the inspiration piece and love the casual look they give the layout. To add a bit of a rustic feel, i have used metallic brown gelatos to add to the background.

This Scraplift Saturday was inspired by Raquel Bowman of the Cocoa Vanilla team and utilized their new Totally Rad collection. Boy was it fun creating with these goodies!! I loved the triangular elements in her piece that pointed to her picture and that was my inspiration and jumping off point for my layout. My layout however, displayed two pictures and as you will see in the video took me down a really fun path that ended with a different looking version and final piece! Hello scrappy friends!! This is Megan and today I am sharing a pocket page spread that Julia, from The Art of Creating, made for us. I realy love all the cute little details she added to each of her pockets!
Those hearts are adorable!!! I totally want to make some like them now!
Julia said about her spread, “ I was really inspired by colours, bokeh picture and the flowers that reminded me of ruffles. so i have decided to use vellum to create a bokeh effect on the pages and made my own ruffle hearts embellishments using pattern paper and vellum.”
