Hello Crafty Mavens! This is Kristie with you today. I hope you’re having a ggod week so far!
The inspiration piece was very fun and tropical this week! I took the bright colors and fruit images and applied them to my weekly Project Life. It was great to have an opportunity to use up those pineapple embellishments that have been so popular lately. I used products by Dear Lizzy, Simple Stories and Amy Tangerine.
Hello scrappy friends! This is Kriatie here with a pocket page spread for you today.
I used the patriotic red, whites and blues of the inspiration piece for this layout. I paired it with some yellow for an extra pop of color. I had fun using up some older embellishments in my stash like chipboard stars, acetate and cork.

Hello scrappy friends! This is Kristie here today, from Sweet Girl Designs, sharing my project life spread that I made for you all.
I found the inspiration piece so luxurious this week with the turquoise and gold. I decided to use those two colors paired with black and white (as found in the wonder quote). I was surprised at how much gold I have in my stash but seldom use, so it was fun to rediscover lost treasures. I love how the embellishments serve more of a purpose in this layout and their not too over the top.

Hello crafty friends! This is Kristie and I’m here to share my Project Life spread with you today!
I absolutely loved the inspiration piece for this week! The soft pastel colors are absolutely gorgeous and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw PURPLE! Why is there so little purple in scrapbooking? I used cards from Studio Calico and embellishments from Seven Paper, Amy Tangerine, Dear Lizzy and Maggie Holmes along with a few doilies and things from my stash. I had a ton of fun incorporating as much purple as possible.

Hello crafters! I hope you’re having a great week so far! I’m here to share an adorable page spread that Kristie made for us today.
Don’t you just LOVE it?!! I love babies, so seeing these cute photos is just a lot of fun!
Kristie says, “Had a lot of fun using a very different color scheme for me. I was inspired by the green in the inspiration piece but I was also inspired to add purple into the mix when I came across an acetate piece in my stash (as seen on my title card). I absolutely love the combination of green, purple, woodgrain and the pop of pink in my photos. I also did something a little bit out the ordinary for me and used cards from a core kit and not a kit subscription kit.”

Aloha Crafters!! It’s Tuesday which means pocket pages on the Crafty Maven. Can I tell you a secret…I haven’t decided if I am doing Project life this year yet?! But I love watching project life videos, it is fun to take a look into the daily lives of my fave scrappers. Plus I love how pocket page scrapbooking can look so different depending who is making the pages. They can be simple or have so many details to them.
Today on The Crafty Maven Getaway Sweet Girl Designs is sharing with us her Pocket Page spread. I always love her pages, they are the right amount of embellishing (for me at least). Here is a look at her spread.
“I had a lot of fun creating these layouts even though there is no pink! The colours were a bit outside what I normally choose – lots of reds, blues and yellows – but I really like how bright and colourful the finished layout is. I used cards from Gossamer Blue and paper from paper pads along with ephemera from Fancy Pant’s Happy Place.” ~ Kristie
I hope you were inspired by Kristie’s pocket pages, whether or no you do pocket page scrapbooking. I hope you join us tomorrow for Free Flow Wednesday.
Hello Crafty Mavens!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! Can you believe Thanksgiving is just a few days away? I’m gearing up for a few crafty shopping trips online and enjoying some turkey!!
Well, today I have a wonderful Project Life spread made by Kristie from Sweet Girl Designs. You can find her on YouTube here. Below is her video as well as a few photos of her project:
Kristie said: “For this Project Life layout I was really inspired by the colors in the inspiration piece as well as the “good enough” card from Studio Calico. I took the colors from there along with the copper foil accent. I tied my layout together using ephemera from Maggie Holmes’ Shine collection, wood veneer from Gossamer Blue, Color Cast Designs and My Mind’s Eye as well as doilies and enamel dots.”
Thanks for stopping by!! This is Kristie’s first video as a Design Team member so make sure to watch her video and give her a bunch of thumbs up and love!
