Plan It Sunday: (Jan 1) Crafty Meggy

Hello Crafty Mavens!! This is Megan, aka Crafty Meggy and I am SO super excited to be back with you today. It has been way too long since I’ve done a layout for CMG and I had so much fun creating this planner spread for today!!

This is the inspiration piece for this week:

jan1stinspiration

In all honesty I totally forgot to use the piece while I was doing my spread, but I did use yellow in my planner page so it worked out! 🙂 I really love how bright the green and yellow are.

jan1planner1

This is my full spread of the month of January. I had so much fun making it pretty!! I don’t normally decorate my monthly spreads and definitely not with this much mixed media and cuteness!

jan1planner2

I LOVE these clouds from SpiegelMom Scraps store. I also used some Foiled Again Dazzlerz from Shimmerz Paints with a Crafters Workshop stencil.

jan1planner3

I recently bought a MAMBI sticker booklet from Michaels and these two stickers were in there. I really love using big stickers I have realized.

jan1planner4

I used some of the Dazzlerz on the actual page as well. I think that’s one of my favorite parts of it!!

Each month this year I want to make a new crafty goal and reason why that’s my goal for the month. Usually I just pick out a few goals for the whole year, but I never really do anything with them. I’m hoping by reevaluating my goal each month I will get more accomplished.

Well, That’s it for my planner spread today. I hope you enjoyed looking through what I made! I had so much fun making it and look forward to using more mixed media and embellishments in the future.

Plan It Sunday (July 31): Katty Miranda

Hello crafty mavens! This is Katty and I’m here with a planner video. It’s been a while since i decorated my planner. I forgot how fun it is and how nice it is to have a decorated spread to fill in for my month or week. I went with all of the colors in this weeks beautiful mood board. I used some washi and a few items from my stash to create this spread. It was definitely fun to create and I look forward to planning out the month of August.

Plan It Sunday: Banning Lane

Aloha Crafters!! I hope this spring or fall is treating you well. That you have been getting a chance to enjoy the weather changes and getting in some family fun time as well as meeting your creative appetite 🙂

Today for Plan It Sunday Banning Lane is letting as take a look into her planner.

Here is what she has to say about her planning this week, “I didn’t do anything to fancy in my planner this week, but then again I never do. I used my go to stickers and stamps to decorate my week. I didn’t have any planner stickers in my stash that matched this week inspiration piece, so I created some very basic boxes and to-do headers as a base for my week. I then added some of my cuter stickers from my stash, like the grocery bag and the spa face, to fancy it up just a bit. I left plenty of white space to fill in plans through out the week as they happen. If you want to see how this spread came together, check out the process video below.”

Plan It Sunday: (March 13) Katty Miranda

Aloha Crafty Mavens!! The weekend is sadly coming to an end! I love having free time to craft or relax and not have to think about school work, finishing tons of chores and appointments. Sundays are the perfect day to start thinking about the plans for the week ahead though.

“March is such a fun month to plan out. It’s the beginning of my favorite season, Spring. We have St. Patrick’s Day and this year we also have Easter. I loved this weeks inspiration piece. I used the green color only in a lighter shade. I also brought in some yellows and pink which are perfect for spring. I’ve filled in most of my month already. Mainly with crafty commitments. I will fill in other commitments and tasks throughout the month as necessary. If you have seen my Plan with me videos before you’ll know that I don’t use planner stickers. I am using just my stash to decorate my planner. I was even able to use up some spring themed dimensional stickers that have been in my stash for a very long time. This spread was a lot of fun to put together. Thanks for stopping by and make sure you head on over to our You Tube channel to watch today’s video as well as all the awesome videos posted everyday.”- Katty

One thing I love the most about Sunday’s is the fact that we share the new inspiration piece.

Here is a look at this week’s inspiration piece.

Inspiration piece March 3

I was very much inspired by the thought of spring time in march. Growing up in New York, march always means new grass and warmer weather.

I hope this piece inspires you to look forward to warmer weather and spring time and St. Patrick’s Day!!

Can’t wait to see what the design team makes this week.

Have a great week Crafty Mavens!!

Aloha, Hannah

Plan It Sunday (Feb 28) Tanya Hubbard

Aloha My scrappy friends!! If you haven’t seen it floating around social media, this week is a super special week on our channel. This week we are having a Throwback to Two Peas week. Two Peas is a big influence for the idea of this channel, great designers sharing inspiration everyday in one place. Many of us crafters and scrapbookers have been inspired and loved Two Peas and all they had to offer us. It was a sad day, when they closed down their doors.

I really want to take this week and reflect on all the amazing things Two Peas did for us. Each of the videos this week is inspired by the designers who have been on the Two Peas Youtube channel and design team. And there has been so many. We also can’t forget to mention the amazing community that surrounded Two Peas. It was a great place to hang out, share what you’re working on, and creating friendships.

On our Facebook group we will be sharing all the videos we are posting as well as questions geared towards The Two Peas. I will be having a few challenges to have some fun. We also have something special too, but I will wait to tell you about that!!

Also the inspiration Piece the design team is using this week is this..

I am really loving the light and pastel colors for this board. I really tried to be inspired by the Two Peas channel when designing this board. I hope it inspires you.

Mix It Up Monday: Banning Lane

12472380_213450862330934_6782034928174728755_n

” This year I decided that I wanted to use a smaller personal planner for on the go in addition to my bigger A5 planner that stays at home. I fell in love with the white planner from Websters Pages, but it came without it’s “guts”. I loved all the blues and oranges in the inspiration piece, so I used that color scheme to make my dividers. I used my silhouette to cut them out so this project was super easy. You can check out my process video to see what other inserts I am going to be using this year.”  Banning Lane
