In Your Pocket Tuesday (Aug 23): Nurse Lisa

Hello this is Lisa with you today. I was totally inspired by the colors of the inspiration piece – especially the vibrant greens, reds and orange. The map at the top inspired me to use the photos of my son, Zack, who’s in the Air Force and happened to travel home across country and surprise me on a Sunday morning! The best surprise EVER! I also loved the poem and decided to incorporate some sayings into my layout using photo stickers! What a fun layout between Zack and Polly’s naptime pics haha!

In Your Pocket Tuesday: (June 7) Nurse Lisa

Hello everyone! Lisa here to share my pocket page with you today!

I was in love with the inspiration piece for so many reasons! I loved the fence photo with the sun peeking through. I had taken a PL photo with the same type of fence railing, which I thought was just meant to be! I also love taking pictures of flowers in almost all of my summer layouts and this weeks’ layout was no different. I had received Mother’s day flowers from my son Zack and they were gorgeous, so of course I had to preserve the memories of that! I Love, Love, Love Hannah’s creative Inspiration pieces she posts for us, and I never seem to have trouble getting my creative juices flowing with any of them! :=)

In Your Pocket Tuesday: (May 10) Nurse Lisa

Hello Crafty Maven’s!! I hope you’re having a good week so far!

I LOVED this weeks inspiration piece because of the Tiny bit of teal surrounded by all of the Monotone (the black and white) as I am a HUGE fan of black & white. Did I say I love black and white?! As a matter of fact, I think this inspiration piece held within it, SO many of my favorite things: polka dots, stripes, bows, splotches of color, teal, OH and the dog of course! I tried to incorporate some of these ideas into my layout. Larry the lady bug had amazing polka dots it just so happened, the kiwi had the nice textures of stripes in the seeds, I used ink splatter that made nice splotches, my favorite corner stamps has amazing stripes, I loved the contrast of the white background behind Polly and I fell in love with the black & white “put on your positive pants” quote just because….who doesn’t need that reminder! So, stop by and hear my chit chat about this week in my life and learn about “Larry the Lady bug!” Thanks! Lisa

In Your Pocket Tuesday: (March 22) Nurse Lisa

Hi Everyone! It’s Nurse Lisa and I had a lot of fun creating this pocket page for you this week!

The inspiration piece had a teeny, tiny hint of gold in it and since gold is not always my first color of choice, I thought I would challenge myself to use gold in my layout.

march20-26

I had these chipboard pieces in my stash by MAMBI and they worked perfect! I also used a photo sticker from Pink Paislee that said “today”. This was a busy week for me and I wanted to have little bits & pieces of all of my days in my pocket page included: a baby shower I held for a co-worker, the weather, and some beautiful flowers my sister had sent to the hospital where I work for Valentines day. Now these are some of the reasons why I do project life type pages; to savoir these memories. I think Polly shoving her face in the snow was my favorite photo though, I have to admit!! Oh, and now that gold bow finally has a home :=)

Hello friends!! This is Megan and I am back today with a Project life spread from Lisa, aka Nurse Lisa.

You can find her process video below and her personal YouTube channel here.

Here are some close up photos of her spread:

Lisa said, “In Your Pocket Tuesday (February 9th) This Project Life spread was so much fun and what I took away from the Inspiration piece was: the colors (Browns, reds, blues), textures (wood and burlap), the leaves and the pretty rhinestones. I think my pictures from this certain week were perfect!! I love when that happens! Anyways, It was Polly’s 7th birthday and she got a special bone from the doggy bakery and the mornings were in the minus temps..brrrr! I just had a blast using that burlap ribbon with the gold sparkly center and the thin twine that seemed to match perfectly. What a fun “In your pocket Tuesday!””

Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you had a great crafty day!

IN YOUR POCKET TUESDAY: NURSE LISA

Well December sure is flying by – it’s the 8th already!!

For today’s pocket style inspiration we have Lisa (Nurse Lisa):

“When I saw the inspiration piece for this week I knew it was going to be a fun December Daily Layout since “Buddy the Elf” was going to make an appearance! I love the Christmas Collection I’m using for my December Daily and actually pulled my glitter glue tubes out to go with some glitter ribbon to add some sparkle to my layout along with Clear “Wink of Stella”. I used some white glitter glue to make snow under the tree too! Can you see the way Polly’s looking at buddy, because she would have ripped all of his stuffing out if she had the chance haha!”

Howdy!

It’s Tuesday and that means we have another pocket life inspired project for you from the lovely Nurse Lisa:

“I was in love with this weeks Inspiration piece and the gorgeous, vibrant colors! The tree with all the orange leaves made me think of the day we went apple picking this fall. Everywhere we looked those colors were there! I wanted to use these photos to bring out those fall colors. The die cut “Color outside the lines” was perfect for this layout. I wanted to added some color to it by backing each word with a bright color – did I mention I love color!! I added some sparkle and dimension to the apples by using glossy accents and punched out leaves that were definitely appropriate for this spread.. What great memories I captured from our fun day!”
