Grid Design Layout – The Crafty Maven Getaway

Hello everyone! This is Katty and I hope you’re all having a great hump day! I made a layout to share with you today based on my style of scrapbooking.

I was super inspired by the Pinks and greys in this weeks mood board. I immediately thought of this Authentique Patterned paper. I love the beautiful gradient. I was a bit hesitant to use these photos because my brother is in them but in the end I was ok with it. After all I’m documenting the love between my brother and niece. I loved this cut file from The Cut Shoppe and I knew I wanted to use it as well. This was so fun to create. I love the loose grid style and the big bold tittle I created.

Aloha Crafters!! Today Is Sketch It Out Thursday! Whether you love sketches or loathe them, It is always fun to see the transformation from what is on a sheet of paper come to life on a scrapbooking page.

“For Sketch it Up Thursday (4th). I was inspired by the colours in the moodboard, and immediately thought of Pink Paislee “Cedar Lane”. I’ve used my November Clique Kit. I love Laura Whitaker’s sketches, and loved the patchwork look of this one to be able to feature beautful papers – my most favorite product!!!
