Sunday Spotlight: Alicia Jinhee
The spotlight is on Alicia Jinhee this week on The Crafty Maven Getaway! Alicia has been scrapping for about two years and she has been sharing her talents on YouTube for about the same amount of time on her channel. She shares some of her favorite layouts on her spotlight video; they are absolutely stunning! Alicia has a penchant for using Crate Paper collections in her layouts and she also loves to use mixed media. Alicia was recently a guest designer for Clique kits! Here’s what she said about her project:
“I used Notes and things PL kit and 6×6 pad for most of the layout and I ended up taking some hints of purple and grey from the mood board along with some of the wood elements but mostly I was inspired by the over all cool and fall/wintery feel to it”

Mix It Up Monday: Alicia Jinhee
Hi Crafty friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! Today I’m sharing a cute little project that Alicia made for us today. I am really in love with it! It is so cute! My favorite part is that she used non traditional colors for this time of year! Not that I don’t love the fall colors I’ve been seeing, it’s just refreshing.

Free Flow Wednesday: Crafty Meggy And Alicia Jinhee
Aloha Crafty Mavens!! Happ Hump Day!! I hope you have been enjoying all the inspiration this week!! I look forward to watching the Crafty Maven Getaway channel everyday. This group of ladies are always raising the bar!! I feel like we are trying to help each other become better scrapbookers and crafters! I hope they have been challenging you to become a better crafter too in your own style.
That is one of the things I love about this community, we all have different styles and can share them and grow from each other. Even when we don’t scrap in the same style.
Today on The Crafty Maven Getaway, Crafty Meggy is going to be sharing a layout for you. I love her clean designs. I always feel like I am learning something new when I see her layouts.
Here is what Megan had to say about making this layout. “Even though it’s full blown Autumn/Fall I wasn’t really in the mood to scrapbook it. Haha, I don’t know why! But I had these cute photos of my 2 older boys reading a book and I felt moved to scrapbook them. I got my inspiration for the placement of them from the grid of the inspiration piece, but then I kind of just put it all together how I felt in the end.
I used the October Clique Kits that features the PinkFresh Studio Happy things collection. I am in LOVE with this collection! It’s so fun and whimsical, which really doesn’t represent fall, so I hope you will forgive more completely going away from the inspiration this time!”

Scraplift Saturday: Scifi Scrapper and Alicia Jinhee
Aloha Scrappers!! Happy Weekend!! I hope this week has been well for you and are about to have a great weekend! I am looking forward to enjoying some sun, and scrapping!
This Saturday we have Alicia Jinhee on the channel. She is using a layout made by the talented, JC Chris.
Here is what the original looked like.
I love her take on circles!! The layout she made is so pretty and I love how was able to tame down the mood board. I love bright colors but sometimes it’s nice to be able to tone the color down too. Here is a look at her layout.

Also on the channel today Is Scifi Scrapper, or Emma as you may know her as. Emma is scrap lifting a layout by Stephanie Bryan. Here is what the original looked like.
Emma’s layout looks so different from the original layout, mostly from all the color! I love the little things Emma did to make her layout different. Things like adding vellum hearts, rub ons and the big black title. Even just by adding lots of bold colors and patterns in her papers it gives her layout a totally different feel. And I love it. It feels so happy and youthful. Here are some close ups of her layout.

Mix it up Monday: Alicia Jinhee
Hello all our crafty friends!! Sorry this post is quite a few days late! This week has been crazy and I had convinced myself that I had already done this post when the end of the day came. lol Have you ever done that? Not done something that you completely thought you had done?!!
Well, anyway, Thanks for stopping by today!! I have a layout from Alicia Jinhee to share with you for this Monday’s post. She did an amazing job on her layout and I just love the technique she used!!
