Hello everyone! This is Katty and I hope you’re all having a great hump day! I made a layout to share with you today based on my style of scrapbooking.

I was super inspired by the Pinks and greys in this weeks mood board. I immediately thought of this Authentique Patterned paper. I love the beautiful gradient. I was a bit hesitant to use these photos because my brother is in them but in the end I was ok with it. After all I’m documenting the love between my brother and niece. I loved this cut file from The Cut Shoppe and I knew I wanted to use it as well. This was so fun to create. I love the loose grid style and the big bold tittle I created.

Art Party Friday: (June 10) Beth Soler

Hello crafty friends! Beth here today to share an art journal page I made.

I was really inspired by the inspiration piece this week. Particularly the light blue and navy color that is on the bowls in the piece. This is where my idea for the color came from. When I was deciding what to art journal about I thought that documenting my one little word this year in art journal form would be awesome, especially since I haven’t been bringing my word to the forefront this year. I really enjoyed using a new technique on this art journal layout and documenting my one little word.

Sketch it Out Thursday:(June 9) Mari

Happy Thursday Crafty Mavens! Today we have Mari with Sketch it out Thursday. She used a sketch to create her layout.

This was a layout created under a huge time crunch, so using a sketch definitely helped. I used a sketch by Laura Whitaker; I love her sketches and highly recommend her Pinterest boards and pins. I followed the sketch very closely for this layout. It just worked and I was in a huge rush. I like the end result!-Mari-

Free Flow Wednesday: (June 8)

Hello and happy hump day, crafty Maven’s! This is Dannielle and I’m here to share my free flow layout with you.

When I saw the mens dress shoes in the inspiration piece, I was immediately reminded of a photo and story that I have yet to scrapbook. The picture on this layout is one of my little brother, and my hubby at a graduation banquet.
The men’s shoes may have reminded me of this photo, but I took my color inspiration from all the other pictures from the inspiration piece. I love all the browns and blue, with just a pop of pink.

All the papers I used on my layout came from my scrap box. I always get anxious about cutting up a 12×12 piece of paper, so using scraps is my favorite way to scrap. Once I got may layers in place, I looked through my stash for some simple embellishments. This is a go to style for me, and I love the way it turned out.

Hello everyone! Lisa here to share my pocket page with you today!

I was in love with the inspiration piece for so many reasons! I loved the fence photo with the sun peeking through. I had taken a PL photo with the same type of fence railing, which I thought was just meant to be! I also love taking pictures of flowers in almost all of my summer layouts and this weeks’ layout was no different. I had received Mother’s day flowers from my son Zack and they were gorgeous, so of course I had to preserve the memories of that! I Love, Love, Love Hannah’s creative Inspiration pieces she posts for us, and I never seem to have trouble getting my creative juices flowing with any of them! :=)

Happy Saturday Crafty Maven! I hope you are all having a great weekend. Today we have Deanna Scraps with Scraplift Saturday!

This layout is a scraplift of a layout by Ashley Hortonhttps://www.pinterest.com/pin/85498092905305399/. I loved the design so much that I followed it almost completely! I changed up the colors and did mostly blues and greens, where Ashley’s layout was a rainbow of colors. One of my favorite parts of making this layout was all of the stitching. I enjoy the detail and texture that stitching gives to a layout and thought all of that stitching looked awesome on this layout! -Deanna-
