Free Flow Wednesday: (June 29) Kelly Barron

Hello crafty mavens! This is Kelly and I am up today with a free flow layout.

This week’s mood board was just so much fun! I ran with the pineapple theme and redid an older layout from my honeymoon album. I don’t make it a practice do redo layouts, but I never finished the album, nor was I happy with my completed pages. So I have decided to try and redo it over the summer into an album that I enjoy to look at.

I have used a DIY project life kit and made my own cards to go with the theme of this week’s inspiration piece. I have used a combination of Shimmerz sprays, Distress inks and watercolours.

Stash it Monday:(June 27) Beth Soler

Happy Monday Crafty Maven! I hope everyone’s week started out good. Today we have Beth with Stash it Monday!

I really dug into my stash for this layout. I used papers from the Florence kit from Close To My Heart, ribbon that I have had sitting in my drawer forever, some old Heidi Swapp puffy stickers, an arrow from the Cedar Lane collection and some embroidery thread that has been in my stash forever. As you can see I ran out of thread so the E had to be in a different color! I really enjoyed digging through my stash to create this layout!-Beth-

Sketch it out Thursday:(June 23)Tina Gale

Hello Crafty Mavens! Today we have Tina Gale with Sketch it out Thursday.

Today I’m working with a sketch from Creative Scrappers and showing how to change it up to make it your own. I used a cut file from the Artistry Cricut cartridge and did some watercoloring to make up the background. Using a 6×6 Pink Paislee Fancy Free paper pad to back the cut file and the Fancy Free ephemera to finish it off. -Tina

Stash it Monday:(June 20) Deanna Scraps

Hello Crafty Mavens! I hope everyone’s week started out good. Today we have Deanna with Stash it Monday.

This was a really fun layout to make. As I was digging through my stash, I came across the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss paper with all of the letters and knew right then that I wanted to use it. I based the rest of my color scheme off of the letters that I planned to use. I dug deep into my stash to find some of the cork pieces, the vellum stickers and the camera. I really loved the way this layout turned out!-Deanna-

Scraplift Saturday:(June 18) Marianne and Beth

Happy Saturday Crafty Mavens! I hope your weekend is has been great so far. Today we have Marianne and Beth with Scraplift Saturday.

I used my Cameo to recreate the fun page by Ashley Horton. The cut file was a circle frame I cut into 2 different sizes. I took a circles punch and some patterned papers to complete the look. Thanks Ashley for the inspiration! -Marianne-

I scraplifted Tiffany Solario and used pink which is not a color that I usually scrap with. I got inky with my Heidi Swapp colorshine and really enjoyed inking up my flower die cuts. The paper is from the Felicity Jane May kit and the butterflies are from Wilna Furstenberg. The story is all about my daughter and how we created magnets with hot glue for her school project.-Beth-

Hello scrappy friends! This is Evi and I’m here to share my mixed media layout I made today.

I played with heavy gloss gel and glitter. I love the new Heidi Swapp positive word stencil and adding a light pink watercolor wash over the rest. The ephemera is from Wilna’s website and Prima flowers. I love my new DSLR camera and wanted to scrap a photo with me and my camera.

Sketch it out Thursday: (June 16) Kelly O

Photobooth Fun
Scrapping some silly family Photobooth strips. I used a sketch from 10/30/2008 on danniesdesigns.typepad.com or you can find it on my Pinterest sketch board. The link to my sketch board is in the videodescription.

I loved the corals in the inspiration piece. The red chevron represents the wood chevron in the inspiration and the circle stickers on my layout are a reminder of the transparent circles in the inspiration.

And drumroll please…. I actually used cardstock as a background, something I usually have a problem doing! -Kelly-
