Hello Crafty Maven’s!! I hope you’re having a good week so far!

I LOVED this weeks inspiration piece because of the Tiny bit of teal surrounded by all of the Monotone (the black and white) as I am a HUGE fan of black & white. Did I say I love black and white?! As a matter of fact, I think this inspiration piece held within it, SO many of my favorite things: polka dots, stripes, bows, splotches of color, teal, OH and the dog of course! I tried to incorporate some of these ideas into my layout. Larry the lady bug had amazing polka dots it just so happened, the kiwi had the nice textures of stripes in the seeds, I used ink splatter that made nice splotches, my favorite corner stamps has amazing stripes, I loved the contrast of the white background behind Polly and I fell in love with the black & white “put on your positive pants” quote just because….who doesn’t need that reminder!
