Aloha Scrappers!!! It’s In Your Pocket Tuesday!!

Today I am (Hannah) bringing my first video, I just started doing Pocket Page scrapbooking a few months ago and I really like using a moodboard when doing a spread because it helps connect each pocket together. This piece was so fun to translate onto the cards! I even got creative and made some cards using PicMonkey with their editing tools. I also used an app called Paint+Paper on my phone to create a few cards too. I was hoping that creating my cards before it would shorten the time I spent on my pockets (not sure it really did, but it was fun anyway). I also love the idea of making cards that mirrored the inspiration piece.

Mix it up Monday: Sci-Fi Scrapper

Hello, Scrappy friends!! Sorry this post is a little bit late today. I completely forgot it was Monday and therefore my turn to blog about the project we have up on the Crafty Maven Getaway YouTube channel today. Our designer today is Emma, from Sci-Fi Scrapper on YouTube. Here’s a look at her project. She made a gorgeous little mini book based off of this weeks inspiration piece:

Aren’t the colors in this photo so much FUN??!! I absolutely LOVE it!!

Isn’t the cover of her album just so pretty?!! I LOVE the celebrate gold chipboard sticker! And those little rosette are so fun.

This is a view of the inside. I really just love this little mini album!! It makes me really want to do more than just every day 12×12 scrapbook layouts!

Hi, guys! This is Megan and I am back with another amazing page with Lisa, aka maggiemylow. I saw the photo before she posted the video and it looked so cool, but watching the video was even more amazing!! I was just blown away by her process. I kind of do a little mixed media on my scrapbooking pages, and I’ve made a couple art journal pages, but nothing even close to this! Watching her video totally makes me want to try it though.

Mix It Up Monday: Maggie Mylow

Hello, scrappy friends!! This is Megan and I will be sharing a 6×12 layout that Lisa, maggiemylow, made for the channel today.

I just love this new trend of making 6×12 layouts for your albums. I’ve even seen some 6×12 albums. That is such a fun and different way to scrapbook and I totally want to try it out! You can watch Lisa’s process video on how she made this page here.

The colors are just so fun on this layout!

I love the floral paper and the months. That is such a great idea for a school layout!

Hi, guys! Megan here and I am excited to share this video spotlight with you today! We will be hearing from Christy who is Christy’s Beautiful Life on YouTube. I love watching her videos and I’m so excited to see all the fun projects she will show us on the Crafty Maven Getaway channel!
