Welcome to The Crafty Maven Getaway!!! The first month is coming to a close already and I hope you all have been as inspired to grab your favorite craft supplies and take a vacation in your craft area!! Today For Twerk It Thursday we have two videos to share with you!!

Rachel Reynolds and Christy’s Beautiful Life are using and sharing a fun sketch!! They picked and used a sketch from Sketchsavvy.blogspot.com by Susan Stringfellow. I love the sketches Susan designs they are so fun to use. Both ladies did an amazing job interpreting that sketch!!

I just love the library theme to this layout! I’m trying to be better about reading this year myself so a layout like this makes me want to scrapbook what I’ve been reading! Great inspiration here!

Aloha Crafters!! I know this is a little late today! Life just got in the way today. I hope your week has been productive and good!!

Today you are in for a great and rad treat as Adele from Inkie Quill shows us some pocket style scrapbooking for her honeymoon trip. She even embraced the inspiration fully and used yellow, which if you watch her YT channel often enough you know yellow and greens are not her fave colors. I love her focus on photos in her spreads along with creativity.

Mix it up Monday: Hannah Lemieux

Hello, scrappy friends!! Are you ready for a fun new week and some great inspiration?! I hope so! I know I am! Today we have Hannah on the channel sharing a layout she made with a bigger photo. I’m excited to watch it because I have some 8×10 photos that I need to scrapbook too and I have no idea what to do with them on a layout!

Isn’t this such a great photo? I love these precious moments we capture between them!

These little vellum hearts and word stickers are so fun. They add a cute little touch to the layout.

I love this little cluster she has that hangs a little bit over the photo, but it doesn’t cover anything important.

The title she came up with was so awesome! I love creative titles, but I have a hard time coming up with them!

Hi, guys!! I am here with the Spotlight Sunday video post for you and it features ME! 🙂 So let’s get started… you can find my video here. I will show you a few of my layouts I’ve made over the past year as well as some photos of my family, kids and my hubby and I.

I don’t often make layouts with one photo on them, but when I do, they usually are a lot of fun.

I love the bright colors of summer layouts I’ve been seeing so I had fun creating this layout!

Below is the inspiration piece for this week, July 27th-August 1st. I can’t wait to scrapbook with it! I love the colors and the wood book case. So fun!

Aloha Crafters!!

It’s Saturday, hopefully for you, you get to relax, spend time with family and have a nice time doing fun things. Here in Hawaii we are nearing the end of summer vacation, so I am hoping to enjoy the last of these lazy summer weekends!! Hopefully whether it’s hot or cold where you are you can enjoy yourself this weekend!!
