September 2018 – The Crafty Maven Getaway

Aloha!! I believe the summer has gotten away with me! As Autumn time here in the United States starts I am getting back into the swing, game and routine of posting here and catching up on a long list on process videos of layouts I have shared with you. I hope you understand and enjoy the videos I am wanting to share with you.

Here is the layout I shared on the Facebook Group and Instagram for the International Scrapbooking Day Weekend Hop we did in May. (Yes, I know I am that behind on some of my process videos)

Do you scrapbook pictures of yourself?? Well you should, whether you are making sure your family understands you or you just want to have fun with photos and styles you need to get on that page. Our families deserve to know you in all forms.

The Crafty Maven Getaway Youtube Channel is having a Design Team Call. Below is all you need to know about the Call. It ends October 16th 10pm PST. Can’t wait to see you apply!!

I am excited to announce another Crafty Maven Design Team call! Our Mission at The Crafty Maven Getaway is to help inspire crafters. We do this with mood boards and inspiration pieces. At The Crafty Maven Getaway we encourage and share a wide range of styles and paper crafting projects to help inspire other crafters. We are looking for like minded planners, card makers, project lifers, art journalers and scrapbookers who are committed and love to share and inspire others.

As part of The Crafty Maven Getaway you will be required to:

• Can post 1 or 2 times a month on The Crafty Maven GetawayYoutube Channel. We are looking for crafters who already have a Youtube Channel and can produce a good quality process video and Share well light photos of their projects.

• You will need to submit your project photos to our Design Team FB Group with a blog description before your post is due.

• You we be required to share your video link on our Facebook Group with a fun crafting topic to chat about or question. (We really love to inspire through crafty discussions and not just through videos. This interaction with our community allows use the ability to give inspiration that applies and is helpful to our viewers)

Some members of the DT who are willing will be required to help behind the scenes with social media sharing. (This will be explained when the new DT members are picked, but if anyone is interested in doing being the scenes stuff may apply for that )
Applications we be accepted until October 16, 2018 (10pm PST)
The Design Team term will go from October 30 until end of March 30th, 2019 .

Answer these questions:
1. Tell us about yourself? How did you start crafting? How long have you been crafting?
2. What is your crafty style now? What is your favorite technique?
3. What Style can you bring to The Crafty Maven Getaway? Currently We do different themes on different days, what is your favorite themed day? What new and fresh ideas could you bring to The Crafty Maven Getaway Channel?

4. Who inspires you the most?
5. What is your favorite drink? If you would pick a collection or kit to be inspired by that drink what products would you use?

Also We want to see 2 of your favorite projects that you have made in the last year that showcase your style. We also want you to create a new project just for this DT Call. You Need to make a Youtube process video with this crafty project. Pick one of the past inspiration pieces and use that for the inspiration for your projects. Have fun with the inspiration piece and be creative. We really just want to see your style and how it would fit into The Crafty Maven Getaway lineup. ( be sure to include some photos of your project as well as the link to your video of your project) Please be aware if you do not provide and share a video for the call, it may effect whether you are picked or not. Knowing your video skills and personality through process videos is extremely important because we are mainly a Youtube based DT.

(All together we want to see three projects that show your style 2 of your favorites and something created just for this DT Call)
