I struggled with how to use the inspiration board for my layout a few weeks ago, but this one came to me right away. The minty/green teal color on the far right really stood out, so I decided to focus on that color to create a monochromatic layout.
I remembered that I had least one Amy Tangerine paper in that color, so I went to my stash and pulled all the Amy Tangerine papers in that color that I could find. Along the way I also saw the striped paper and thought it would be a good choice for a little variety.
Cut apart papers and stickers from some of the same Amy Tangerine lines added easy embellishments in the same colors. A few extra embellishments and my layout was complete.
The inspiration board has so many nature elements that I found another nature photo to scrap with this mix of fun papers. Choosing supplies first and then finding my photo last was a nice way to mix up my normal process of choosing a photo first.
I hope you enjoy watching the process as much as I enjoyed making it.
