Today on Mix It Up Monday Felicia is up. It seems like all over my IG and Facebook feeds are full of fun tags. Felicia is sharing her take on this tag trend.
“Hello everyone! Today I have a Mix It Up Monday project involving creating some gift tags. The inspiration for the color of these tags came from the Crafty Maven mood board. I used some MFT dies to cut out the flower and Sizzix dies to cut the tags. You can use tags on your layout, Project Life, or gifts and anything you would like! These tags are going on gifts to family members and friends. So grab those pretty pattern papers, dies, and some ribbon to create your own one of kind beautiful tags and have fun!” – Felicia
Aloha!! I really have been enjoying Throwback to Two Peas week!! The Design Team has done a fabulous job!! The layouts are so inspiring!
Today on Scraplift Saturday we have two amazing videos!!
TinaGale has been inspired by Paige Evans. This layout is made by Paige Evans and inspired TinaGale.
“I decided to lift a fabulous layout by Paige Evans for the Scrap Your Stash series at 2Peas. Instead of paper backing she used ribbon. I definitely have plenty of ribbon in my stash that needed to be used up. The long bold title was perfect for this one simple photo of my son taking a rare nap after wearing himself out playing. Notice the bowl on his head? LOL” -TinaGale
Here is TinaGale’s layout. I love all the details she added and layered to the sides of her photos. This layout is just really fun!!
You can watch her process video right here below.
You can also see more videos on her personal Youtube Channel or check out here blog where she is sharing the things she is working on !!
Also on The Crafty Maven Getaway is one of our new Design Team Members ColieBing. I love Nicole’s style, she often has multiple photos on her layouts too.
I have been using her Month in Review videos to get inspiration to do my own MIR layouts for 2014. I am using My Mind’s Eye papers for all of my 2014 MIR layouts and trying to make a little dent in those papers I have been hoarding!” -Nicole (ColieBing)
Here is Nicole’s layout.
I love the buttons on this layout. And that tile is so cool!!
Hello and happy Friday!! I have an awesome layout to share with you today!! Katty made this adorable layout with inspiration from Paige Evans.
The layout on the left was made by Paige Evans and the one on the right is Katty. They’re both so gorgeous!! I really love the cut out butterflies on Katty’s layout and the rainbow of colors.
About her layout, Katty said, “I love all of the Garden Girls but Paige Evens has always been such an inspiration to me. I absolutely love her style. I attempted to recreate her signature”Cut File backed with Patterned Paper” look with this layout. I love how it turned out. It was such fun to try to recreate a layout that I love so much from such a talented scrapbooker. ”
You can find Katty’s process video below and her personal youtube channel here.
Thanks for stopping by today! Come on over to our Facebook group and show us how you’ve been inspired by the Garden Girls!!
Happy Sketchy Thursday!! I am sad we are getting closer to the end of the week. This week has been so fun. I love seeing how our Design Team has been inspired by Two Peas in a Bucket.
Today for Sketch It Out Thursday Crafty Meggy is sharing with us. Megan was inspired by Garden Girl Jen Gallacher. Here is a look at the Sketch by Jen that Megan used and the layout Jen had made with her sketch.
“I remember watching Jen Gallacher a lot back when Two Peas was still a part of the scrapbooking industry. I really admired her clean and simple style (also, how she could make great layouts in a very short amount of time!). I had a lot of fun looking back on all these great ladies to get inspiration from my layout!” -Megan
Aloha!! I know this video and post are up really late!! Yikes, Somedays I think time runs faster than you can get everything done. Though in the end I am super excited to share with you what I did make for Free Flow Wednesday!
I was inspired by Garden Girl Jill Sprott. I love that she embraces layering, colors and boldness. She also always is clear about the story she is telling on her page. All that she uses on her pages help in tell the story.
My layout today is about our first race we went to as a family. My husband was told he needed to cheer on his soldiers who were running in this race, so we decided to go as a family. The Great Aloha Run is a 8.2 mile race. It was so exciting and cool to see all the runners coming down the ramp of road we were standing near.
I added orange acrylic paint to help tie in the orange from my bigger main photo and that big foam hand. I also wanted to keep my embellishments simple since I have lots of patterns colors on my page. I really love these thin chipboard stars from Shimelle.
It’s Free Flow Wednesday and it’s all about the designers style. I love this day. I love seeing all the unique styles we have on this channel. I really think this is what makes this channel so awesome, the diversity.
This Free Flow Wednesday is going to be a special one!! Lilith Eeckels is joining us on The Crafty Maven Getaway with her own take on our mood board!! I hope this makes you just as excited as it does me!! Anytime I get to see a previous Garden Girl do her own thing, I love it. Today is no exception!! I love all the color Lilith used on her layout!! Here is a look at what she created.
