The New Design Team

Hello Crafty Mavens!! I have some exciting news to share with you today!!

Today I am introducing the new Crafty Maven Getaway Design Team for the upcoming six months. Even though I will miss the handful of ladies who have been on the previous design team season, I look forward to what this newer group of ladies are going to be sharing with you!!

We have so many things stewing and brewing in our heads for this year, including a monthly Scrap Chat session in our FB group.

Hello Crafty mavens! Today we have Kelly O with Sketch it out Thursday!

I used a sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. As it sometimes happens once I started cutting papers & embellishment no my layout looks nothing like the sketch except for the two large blocks of paper.

I loved the colors of the inspiration piece for this week, but didn’t have anything in the orchid color in my stash. I ended up using a beautiful coral pink that appeared in two of the photos and also used a frame and a paper with small flowers that was inspired by the wreath.-Kelly-

Stash it Monday:(Oct 3) Hannah

Hello Crafty Mavens! I hope everyone is having a great day! Today we have Hannah with Stash it Monday!

I was inspired by the Pastel colors in the mood board. When I saw the dot paper from Creative Agenda it called to me. I went with a little darker palatte then the mood baord but I really like how it turned out. I also decided to scrap in 8 1/2 x11 to switch things up. The Dear Lizzy ephemera went perfectly for this watercolor and fun feel.-Hannah-
