Happy Saturday Crafty Mavens, today we have Kelly O with Scraplift Saturday.

I lifted a layout by Melissa Mann for Elle’s Studio. The large photoblock was totally inspired by her layout. I had intended to add the banners down the side like Melissa’s layout, but they ended up not making it on to my page.

The colors in this week’s inspiration piece were so gorgeous and this plaid paper was a perfect match. Lastly, the paint cans inspired something else on this layout, but you’ll have to watch the video for me to reveal that! -Kelly-

Art Party Friday (Aug 5): M. Barone

Hello scrapbookers! This is Marianne and today I am sharing a mixed media layout with you. I used some old Jenni Bowlin paint and a Studio Calico mask to make a big impact on my page. I also used a big leaf stamp with the paint to fill out the design. It feels good to get messy with paint for a change!

Hello Crafty mavens! Today we have Katty Miranda with Sketch it out Thursday.

I found this fun sketch from lafabrikascrap-leblog.fr. I tried to follow it pretty closely. I made a few small changes like the placement of my tittle but stayed pretty true to the sketch. I love that it calls for a lot of white or open space. It’s something I often struggle with. The Paige Evans Fancy Free collection worked really well with this weeks mood board. I love how it turned out.-Katty-

Hello Crafty maven today we have Froggie251 with Stash it Monday!

Today I dug deep into my Scraptastic Kit stash for this layout. I was really inspired (like usual) by the colors in the inspiration piece…such a tropical theme. Well, my eye was drawn to the teal so I remembered I had this kit im my stash and it has a few pieces from the Shemelle collection that worked really well with the inspiration piece. I use a bit of gelatos on the back ground. It was a lot of fun using up some of my stash. Currently it is my goal to buy very little and use what I have until I start running low.
